Founded in 2009 by two Harvard undergraduates, The Scientista Foundation is a national organization of motivated women passionate about involving future generations of women in STEM. It has spread to 11 campuses across the nation, gathering a worldwide readership. Harvard College Scientista features students’ articles in an online magazine on topics ranging from informational articles about scientific breakthroughs, to interviews with leading female scientists, to advice on how to join a research lab, to scifi book and movie reviews (writer’s choice!). Harvard College Scientista continually welcomes new members, hosting events ranging from dinners with esteemed faculty, to talks by leading women in STEM, to study breaks with fellow undergraduates.
