Wintersession Site Visit To Broad Institute

Date and Time

January 21, 2016
10:00AM - 01:00PM EST

Location

415 Main Street, Cambridge

The Broad Institute seeks to describe all the molecular components of life and their connections; discover the molecular basis of major human diseases; develop effective new approaches to diagnostics and therapeutics; and disseminate discoveries, tools, methods and data openly to the entire scientific community. Housing one of the largest genome sequencing centers in the world and bringing some of the greatest minds together to confront biomedical challenges through creativity and research, the Broad Institute has been a go-to place for young researchers and scientists who want to make an impact. Event sponsor the Office of Career Services invites you to trek to their Cambridge office and get a feel for its working environment, what creativity and research entail, and what opportunities may exist for you. Space is limited to 25, and you must register  by January 18th (RSVP to http://ocs.fas.harvard.edu/wintersession, registration available through Crimson Careers). For questions, contact Katie Fell (617-485-2595, kfell@fas.harvard.edu).
