Connecting the human brain to a computer is no longer science fiction. Patients unable to control their bodies will soon be able to control computers and external devices, like wheelchairs, using only mental processes, by means of a brain-computer interface. Join us to hear from investigators at the cutting edge of brain-computer interface technology, and to discuss the ethical and philosophical implications of research and clinical care using these technologies. Panelist will be Phillip Kellmeyer (University of Freiburg), Leigh Hochberg (Harvard Medical School / Brown University). This event is free and open to the public. Members of the community with a Harvard/Affiliate ID do not need to register.  Can't attend in person? Watch the webcast live at http://video.med.harvard.edu/MediaPlayer/Live/DAMP.aspx.
