MBB Thesis Workshops - Introductory Meeting

Date and Time

September 29, 2015
04:00PM - 04:00PM EDT

Location

William James 105

In addition to completing a senior thesis in your home concentration this year, MBB also expects you to participate in its interdisciplinary thesis workshops. These workshops will meet occasionally throughout the year and provide you with an opportunity to meet your fellow MBB thesis writers from across all MBB disciplines and to hear about their thesis work as it unfolds across the year. Completion of these workshops and your thesis, as well as earlier course and program requirements (e.g., junior symposium) qualifies you for the Certificate in Mind/Brain/Behavior this May, in addition to your A.B. in your home concentration.

At Tuesday’s meeting one of our workshop leaders Ilya Vidrin will explain the workshops and give instructions for sectioning for upcoming sessions. The meeting will also include the opportunity to hear from and speak with a recent MBB graduate about her thesis experience.

We look forward to seeing you!

(If you are no longer writing a thesis and thus won’t be completing your MBB track, please let me [Shawn Harriman, shawn_harriman@harvard.edu] know. And let me know if you’d like to consider an MBB secondary field; if you have been taking MBB courses over the past several semesters, you may have most coursework for the secondary field completed. Also if you are dropping your MBB track, we’ll plan to remove aka liberate you from our emailing, but please let me know if you’d prefer to stay on our email list, which we’re happy to have you do.)
