Sapient: The Undergraduate Journal of Biological Anthropology

Sapient is currently accepting submissions for our spring issue. The deadline is March 4th, 2016! We will consider submissions received after that time as space permits.

Sapient was founded in 2012 by Columbia University students in the E3B department and has since published three issues, which you can view at www.sapientjournal.com. The journal accepts submissions of up to 4000 words from undergraduates in the areas of human genetics and variation, evolutionary history and theory, primate behavior and ecology, and paleoarcheology and morphology. We also encourage the submission of illustrations and photographs pertaining to these topics. Feel free to submit something you've written for a class! Submissions can be emailed to sapientjournal@gmail.com or to sjr2159@columbia.edu.
